Back to Las Vegas

Olivia Newton John calls Las Vegas home as one of the headliners at the Flamingo. Donnie and Marie Osmond also headline at the Flamingo. Newton John will be performing from March 3 – March 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Newton John will release a two-CD, 22 song recording of her acclaimed concert “Summer Nights – Live in Las Vegas,” recorded live at Flamingo Las Vegas on March 3, 2015, to coincide with her return to the Flamingo for her 2015 concerts. Newton John will record a live CD (22 tracks) titled Summer Nights – Live in Las Vegas as she returns on March 3 to the Flamingo.

Newton John has been entertaining people for 50 years. The shows at the Flamingo will feature a journey of music through Newton John’s life in music and film. Newton John started out in country music and transitioned into soft rock.

Newton John has many accomplishments that include numerous Country Music, Billboard, People’s Choice Awards, and American Music Awards; four Grammys; an Emmy Award; and numerous top ten singles and #1 hits. Grease skyrocketed Newton John’s career into mega stardom and to this date still remains the most successful musical of movies in history. The shows at the Flamingo, which Newton John calls home in Las Vegas, will feature songs from the iconic Grease.

Newton John is still vivacious, creative, energetic, and loved by fans across the globe. She is passionate about helping others in the world that means something to her, including National Tree Day in Australia that she created in 1992, which has planted more than 10 million trees since its inception; Ambassador of Goodwill to the Environment Programme of the United Nations; and co-founder of Healthy Child, Healthy World. In 2008 John Easterling and Newton John got married and strongly promote causes, including natural products and therapies, the importance of saving the Rainforest, and started Gaia Retreat and Spa, the world-renowned spa by Byron Bay, Australia. Her latest venture she created is an initiative for schools around the world to plant at least one tree per each child under age ten called One Tree Per Child.

In Bristol, Australia February 23, One Tree Per Child unveiled the project by planting tree saplings in the city from 130 schools by 36,000 children. A partnership with Bristol mayor George Ferguson was formed when they found out they were passionate about the same thing – tree planting and children.

Newton John’s health was the major priority in 1992 when she became ill with breast cancer. She beat the odds and through the process created the Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre (ONJCWC) in Melbourne, Australia. In 2012 the ONJCWC opened because of all the efforts from close to ten years of fundraising almost $200 million. It provides facilities and services for education, training, research, cancer treatment and a wellness center. The Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute was established within the ONJCWC in 2014. Newton John also developed Liv Aid, an aid that assists women to practice breast self-exams properly.

A percentage of all tickets sold to her Las Vegas shows helps the ONJCWC Wellness Programs. The Las Vegas shows open March 3 at the Flamingo, which Newton John calls home.
